Author of non-fiction, 2019
In August 2019, she self-published ‘For the Love of Country Sports’ on Amazon. “After years of working in the country sports sector, I wanted to delve a little deeper to find out why men and women were so passionate about fishing, deer stalking, gamekeeping, clay and game shooting. So I asked 40 people to share their reasons. They all talked passionately about their involvement, from childhood memories, wildlife encounters to life-changing personal achievements. It’s not about looking good in your colour co-ordinated gear, or catching the light for your best pose with a shotgun over your shoulder. It’s all about the love…”
Author of three fiction books, 2018 – 2019
Although the 50 Onwards & Upwards series are fiction, Linda has a lifetime of experience stored to inspire her creative flow and assist her crafting her story lines and building her book characters. The series follows a small group of female friends in their fifties, as they traverse dating, love and sex, life and work, and discover a shocking and life-changing secret from within their close circle.
Linda is open to discussions about all issues highlighted in her novels: domestic and sexual abuse, PTSD, cancer diagnosis, treatment and recovery, divorce, loneliness, relationships, sex, ageing, self-employment and creativity.
She enjoys clay target shooting, fishing, countryside and woodland walks, photographing roe deer, seaside air, reading and is rarely no more than an arm’s length from her camera, notebook and pencils.
