Living happily in the Scottish Highlands, Linda has been freelance for more than 20 years. Born and educated in Scotland, she moved to London in her early 20s to further her career in the head-hunting industry. Missing the countryside, she left city life behind and moved out the home counties, changed career and established herself as a local and national news photographer. When Linda was living in Devon, in 2005, she founded The British Second Wives Club, and started writing. A move to Cumbria gave her the opportunity to establish an online news portal sourcing and covering local news stories. In 2011, Linda returned to Scotland and began writing about one of her lifelong passions, Scottish country sports. Linda writes copy and features about deer stalking, fishing, shooting, the outdoors, wildlife and rural living. She is also a magazine columnist and pens a long-standing columns, ‘through the lens’ in the Scottish Game Keepers Association magazine, and ‘Scottish Country Life’ in Shooting Scotland magazine.
She loves hats, the Scottish countryside, and wildlife, particularly deer.
An avid reader and is rarely no more than an arm’s length from her camera, notebook and pencils.
